Dr. Woo is a
Retina Specialist and Surgeon who specializes in the treatment of
macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular diseases,
uveitis, and surgery for macular hole, macular pucker, and retinal
detachment. He is also a teacher and instructor for Residents and
actively participates in their medical and surgical training. He
continues to be involved in the latest treatment of vitreo-retinal
diseases by participating in national clinical trials.
Dr. Woo is a graduate of Johns Hopkins
University, where he received his Bachelor of Arts. He received his
medical degree and education from the University of Maryland School of
Medicine.

He completed his Internship in Internal
Medicine at the University of Maryland Medical System. Dr. Woo completed his
Residency in Ophthalmology at Saint Vincents Hospital and Medical Center of
New York and the New York Medical College. Following his residency, he
completed his Fellowship in Vitreo-Retinal Diseases and Surgery, training in
the latest and most advanced techniques at Harvard Medical School and the
Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.
Dr. Woo is Diplomate of the American Board of
Ophthalmology and Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is on
staff at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital, St. Vincents Hospital of
Manhattan, and St. Vincents Hospital of Staten Island.
